My favorite seafood restaurant just opened for the season. The Mud City CrabHouse is undoubtedly the best place for seafood in Ocean County, New Jersey.
The Mud City CrabHouse is not just a seafood restaurant; it is also a seafood market and offers flounder, scallops, shrimp, clam strips and much more for take out. If you don't have time to sit down and enjoy the many delicious items on the menu, take them home and have a wonderful fresh seafood meal in the comfort of your own home.

The Mud City Crabhouse has comfortable seating inside the restaurant and also picnic tables in front of the restaurant if you prefer eating outdoors. Located just minutes from Long Beach Island, sitting outside gives you just a hint of the scent of the ocean which adds to the dining experience.

With great starters like Crab and Artichoke Dip that is served with flat bread and homemade New England Clam Chowder, your only problem at the beginning of the meal is not filling up before your entree is served! Your choice of starters also includes Garlic Mussels which is served with rolls and Seafood Bisque. There are a total of eight delicious appetizers and three homemade soups to choose from. Salad choices include the House Garden and Caesar that can be ordered with chicken, shrimp, or lump crab meat.

The entree menu has something for every seafood lover, including seafood combination dishes. Mud City CrabHouse welcomes special requests and will switch out the combinations listed on the menu. You are guaranteed to enjoy a seafood meal, prepared and presented exactly how you want it. From the tuna to the mahi mahi, every item is made from scratch.

There is a lively, family atmosphere at the Mud City CrabHouse. The wait staff is attentive and knows the menu well. Ready with suggestions for the undecided, it is clear the staff's main priority is to please it's customers. For those patrons who prefer to enjoy some spirits while dining, there is a B.Y.O.B. policy in place. Bring your wine to sip with the fish, or some icy cold beer to drink with the crab and lobster.
