Whim World

Hathi was an enormous elephant in- the -making. Sheaves of leaves, he heaved inside his mouth. Round mounds of grass he gobbled. Sugarcane he crunched. Hay he happily munched. Daily he had many dinners (after he had heartily lunched). At the tender age of two, Hathi had grown to resemble a ball with feet. His girth expanded visibly day by day, so much so that his friends began calling him Fatty- Hatty. Fatty-Hatty's mouth muscles were the most worked parts of his body. But what do the fat Hathi's eating abilities have to do with the story?
The herd was busy eating when Fatty-Hatty first heard about Whim World. Mojig, the ancient elephant, bumped Fatty-Hatty away from some tender grass shoots, and started munching them himself. Between mouthfuls, he mumbled through his broken tusks, "Oy! Respect your elders' needs, kiddo. Move it."
He munched a bit, mumbled a bit, and then made a grunting noise. Burped and said, "I wish things around here were like whim world. Ship-shape and all that, you know."
Everybody else ignored Mojig. They were used to these mad mumblings of his. But Fatty-Hatty was very young (hardly two years) and very nosey.
"Wham world? What is this place? Where is it?" he asked Mojig
"Not wham, but whim world, WHIM WORRLD,
that, now that is how your tongue should be twirled."
"But what can you do at this whim-wham place that is so special?"
"Do? DO?" sputtered the old pachyderm. "In whim world, you don't have to DO anything, it gets done for you. I would not have to search for food there; food would come to me." Mojig's whole body creaked and his teeth grated as he chew, chew, chewed. His trunk trumpeted a grunt. "And it would taste of honey and pollen, not of yucky grass and plants!"
Then Mojig broke into a song about Whim World:
