This is the shortest and best recipe you could ever have in your arsenal. I am a WAHM and don't have a lot of time to be cooking, though it is something that I love to do. This recipe will give you enough chicken for two family size dinners and you can do anything with it. A couple of my family's favorites are also included.

Crockpot Rostisserie Chicken

6 Cups Water
A family size package of bonless, skinless chicken breast
6 tsp. chicken Granules
1 Tbs. Italian Seasoning

Put the water into your crockpot.
Stir in chicken granules until completely dissolved.
Add Italian seasoning.
Place the chicken breast in the crockpot, yes, all of them. If they are not completely covered in water, add a little.

Plug your crockpot in and set to low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours. When the chicken comes out I set it aside to cool for awhile and then shred it. It is so juicy and shreds apart with no effort. Here are a couple of the ways that we use it for dinners in my house.

Chicken Roll-ups

Shredded Chicken (from above)
2 Packages Crescent Rolls
Shredded Cheese (whatever you like is fine)
2 Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Cup Milk
Cooking Spray

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees.
Spray your cookie sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
Open your can of crescent rolls and tear them apart. Lay out one triangle and fill with a little of the chicken and then a little of the cheese and roll as you normally would.
Repeat this until all of the cresent rolls are filled and on the cookie sheet.

NOTE: This recipe can be adjusted for how ever many people you are feeding, just by adjusting how many roll-ups you make

Bake roll-ups for 11-13 minutes (or whatever the directions on the crescents rolls recommend. Remember, every oven cooks a little different, so, check them a little before the timer goes off)

While the roll-ups are baking, open the cans of soup and put them into a pan on the stove. You are basically making soup only with less milk. You want the consistency of gravy, instead of soup. This will used to pour over the chicken roll-ups as a gravy.
