I mean really, these people call themselves my friends, they listen to the Deftones, but they do not share with me?! I mean, sure I had heard of them, and even though I did not know it I had heard their music before and liked it. And a huge thank you to my mom for buying me this album because I am dirt poor and have wanted it for a long time now.

Back to School (Mini Maggit)
This is the first Deftones song that I remember hearing. I saw the music video for it one day when I got home from school. This song is kind of hard and angry. They are thinking back on school, how fake everyone was then and they are the same now. And when you think you know me right, I switch it up, Behind the walls smoking cigarettes and sipping vodka.

It took me a couple times to really get into this song, but now it is one of my favorites from White Pony. It is about this guy who is trapped in a relationship and cannot get out. The scenario is being kidnapped by her and kept in her trunk. It is a pretty angry song also. First untie me, Untie me for now, You said you would, right? And you were right.

Digital Bath
Another one of my favorites from this album. The song is really mellow compaired to the others on the album. Even though the song sounds really romantic, it is really actually about killing someone by throwing an appliance in the bathtub with them. You move, Like I want to, To see, Like your eyes do, We are downstairs, Where no one can see, New life breakaway, Tonight, I feel like more.

Elite
This is one of the hardest songs on the album, I have even heard it refered to as "Metal" (I do not think it is metal by any means). I have heard a lot of interpritations of this song, I do not agree with any of them, and I have absolutely no idea what this song means, but I still love it. You're into depression, Because it matches your eyes, Stop the faux to be famous, Confused, You'll know when you're ripe.
