Family Dining at Bob's

Bob's Catfish-N-More located at 305 E. Morrow St. in Georgetown, TX, is one of the few original restaurants left in Georgetown. They have been serving some of the best catfish and other favorites for 27 years now. They are a family owned business run by Bob Mcminn, Susan Mcminn, and currently two of their sons Brandon and Brian. Brett Mcminn, their other son has also worked at Bob's in the past. Not everyone that works at Bob's is family, but it is safe to say that they feel like part of the family. In fact, one guy was overheard saying, " Working at Bob's is like the mafia, once you get in you never get out."

The atmosphere is casual and fun. With it's wooden walls and extensive fishing artifacts, it has a way of making you feel like you are in an old fishing cabin. Bob and Susan both interact with their customers, as well as Brandon and Brian, who both wait tables. Anyone who knows this family loves coming to Bob's as much for visiting with them as for the food.
