5 Greatest Left-Handed Men's Tennis Players

Sometimes right-handed people are a little cocky. They think that just because ninety to ninety three percent of the world is right-handed that they are better than the left-handed people in the world. Somebody needs to slap these people (preferably with the left hand). There are great left-handed people in every walk of life, including tennis. These five left-handed tennis players have all made hug marks on the game of tennis.

5 Greatest Left-Handed Men's Tennis players: Goran Ivanisevic
Goran Ivanisevic is not on the same level as the other players on this list but he was a very good left-handed tennis player. Goran Ivanisevic never reached the number one ranking in the world because right-handed Pete Sampras was in his way but he did win one Wimbledon title and was runner-up three other times. Goran Ivanisevic's biggest strength was his left-handed serve, which remains one of the best serves of all-time.

5 Greatest Left-Handed Men's Tennis Players: Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal is one of the stars of today and he could someday be one of the greatest players in tennis history. Rafael Nadal has already won six Grand Slam titles and would've won two more if it wasn't for right-handed Roger Federer. Nadal did finally knock Roger Federer from the top of the rankings though. Growing up Rafael Nadal was actually right-handed but when he decided to start playing tennis Nadal's coach urged him to play left-handed to have a competitive advantage.

5 Greatest Left-Handed Men's Tennis Players: John McEnroe
John McEnroe went to 11 Singles Grand Slam Finals and won seven times. John McEnroe's strongest weapon was his left-handed backhand. Of course John McEnroe was most known for being a little hot-headed. Nobody threw a left-handed temper tantrum like John McEnroe.

5 Greatest Left-Handed Men's Tennis Players: Jimmy Connors
Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe had some of the best left-handed vs. left-handed tennis matches in history. I hate to see left on left hate crimes like that but they were some awfully good matches. Jimmy Connors made it to 15 Grand Slam titles and won 8 of them.
