Celebrity Endorsed Carol's Daughter's Cool Mint Body Gel

The Carol's Daughter skin care line was created by Lisa Price and named in honor of her mother. She began to make natural body care products out of her kitchen in 1993 after her hobby of concocting perfumes began to take off. Today her ever expanding line of products still continue to be made out of her kitchen, albeit a much bigger one, after her products began to take off when celebrities like Will Smith, Jada Pinkett, and Mary J. Blige started endorsing it.

I discovered Carol's Daughter about a year ago, after looking for gentle cleansers and not being able to find any, even at high quality retailers like Sephora, which now carries the line. Somehow I found the body care line and decided to purchase the Cool Mint Body Cleansing Gel, which contains no harsh lathering ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate. It has four ingredients vegetable castile soap, aloe vera, and the essential oils of spearmint and cool mint.

I love the gel because a little bit goes a long way, I don't have to use a lot to get a rich lather, and because it doesn't dry out my skin like regular body washes or soaps do. It cleanses pretty well but my skin never feels tight or itchy after using it. It just feels refreshed. I think it's great year round, but especially in the summer months when your body gets sweaty and hot, because if you apply the cleanser to your body and allow it stand for about 20 or 30 seconds before rinsing off, your skin will feel really cool and tingly because of the heavy dose of essential mint oils. Another bonus for summer weather is the fact that you won't need to use a really heavy moisturizer in order to make your skin smooth and soft, because Carol's Daughter already took care of the problem.
