The Little Things that Shows His Love

Recently I wrote an article on some of the petty annoyances I have with my husband, THINGS I PUT UP WITH FOR THE SAKE OF LOVE in it, I described some of the little things that I put up with basically because I love him. As I thought about this article, I realized I wasn't giving my husband credit.

Sure he does some things that annoys me, but he also does a lot of things, some of them also little that shows me just how much he loves me.

After thinking about this more and more, I realize must men and women do this. In relationships, especially the strong ones, we are daily showing how much we love our significant other, sometimes through these small little things. For example, my husband loves to have a cup of coffee the first thing in the morning, yet he hates making the coffee himself. He usually wakes up before me, (I hate crawling out of bed). I fix the coffeepot at night before we go to bed. All he has to do it turn on in the morning. Then I rise by the time it is finished and pour some for him, adding his favorite mixture of cream and sugar. No big deal. This doesn't even take five minutes out of my time, yet is shows him how much I care and love him.

Now here is a list of some of the things my hubby does on a regular basis that shows me that he loves me. See how many, you may also do for your significient other or that he or she might do for you.

1. Pumps gas for me. There are no gas stations around here that will pump it for you anymore and I hate pumping gas. He always makes sure my car is at least on half a tank.

2. Speaking of cars, he takes care of the rest of the car's maintence needs, too. If it is too complicated for him, he makes the arrangments at the garage and oversees everything.

3. Brings me flowers, for no occassion. He says he just does it to see me smile. And the flowers doesn't have to be big bouquets. He knows I love potted pants, gardening plants and even the single carnation.

4. Fixes me hot chocolate when I have a sore throat.

5. Rubs my neck when I have headaches or have been on the computer too long.

6. Made sure I had a cell phone, after I had a car accident. Now he wants me to be able to get in touch with him by phone wheneveer. Of course, he has one, too.
