There's No Place Like Home is a garden oasis dining spot in the middle of the city. Most seating is outdoors on a tree lined patio that will make you think you have invaded the land of the Hobbits. It's like eating in a treehouse and adds to the feeling of home. There is a fountain with Koi fish that is surrounded by little dinosaur statues that will delight the children. Home is very dog friendly. Diners are welcome to bring their dogs to join them on the patio.

There's No Place Like Home is great place for a relaxing weekend brunch with friends. It is a popular trendy hot spot in the upscale Los Feliz neighborhood.. They offer weekday breakfast specials Monday through Friday 9am-11am for $4.95. Diners can save even more from a coupon in the Entertainment Book. On rainy days Home has a special 50% discount on second breakfast or lunch entree.

Recently my friend Linda and I met at There's No Place Link Home for a girl's day out Saturday brunch gab fest. We started our dining experience by standing in line to place our order. On the weekends it can be crowded and take 15-20 minutes but the wait is worth it. An insider tip is to phone in your order and then you can go to the front of the line and pick-up your order to dine in or take home.

We arrived at 1pm but breakfast is served all day so Linda ordered from the breakfast menu and I ordered from the lunch menu. Linda ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito for $6.95. She praised the breakfast burrito saying, "it was very flavorful and filling. The vegetables were tender but not mushy and the garlic blended all the flavors together in a pleasant manner. I especially liked the fresh salsa that was served with it." The burrito was wrapped in a flour tortilla with a blend of seasonings that added to the delightful tasty experience of the vegetables that included: zucchini, eggplant, broccoli, black beans. Scrambled eggs, Monterey jack and cheddar cheese were also stuffed into the burrito. Tofu could have been substituted for the eggs and a side of Home fries or fresh fruit can be added for an additional $2.65.
