When my daughter turned 14 months old she began to become more independent. Things she used to love became a battle, such as her changing table and high chair. I moved the changing pad to the ground, but I still needed to find a safe alternative to her high chair. She was not ready for a plastic booster set because she still needed to be strapped in, plus I wanted something that didn't clutter up my kitchen with ugly plastic. Just when I thought I would never be able to find anything to suit her, and I would be doomed to battles over every mealtime, I found the Handysitt.

The Handysitt is a booster seat and highchair alternative. It fits firmly onto the back of most chairs, and it allows any child from 7 months to 4 1/2 years to eat right at the dining room table. It also features a 3-point harness system which keeps little ones safe. If all those features were not enough to sell me on the Handysitt, the clean modern look was! The Handysitt is probably one of the most stylish boosters I have ever seen- and it will fit nearly every decor. The Handysitt comes in a variety of colors: blue and Beech wood, red and Beech wood, silver and whitened beech wood, black arms and beech wood, and black arms with dark oak. The cost of the Handysitt is actually less than most highchairs at only around $89. The Handysitt fits many chairs, either square or round backs between 12 and 17 inches high. The Handysitt is also great for eating out and travel since it fits many chairs. The one downside to the Handysitt is that it will not fit high-backed chairs, so make sure you measure before you buy a Handysitt. It ended up not fitting my chairs right, so I had to go out and buy a special chair for my daughter.

The Handysitt folds away easily, so it's also perfect to keep at Grandma's house or another place where you only need a Booster seat or high chair occasionally. The fact that the Handysitt is also clean lines with no small crevices like traditional highchairs is what makes it extremely easy to clean, which was important to me with my messy baby!
