OVERVIEW:

The Flinstones Complete Children's Multivitamin Multimineral Supplement is advertised as the Pediatricians #1 Choice for Children's Chewable Vitamins with Calcium, Iron, and Minerals.

PERSONAL REVIEW:

When my middle son had his health physical for Kindergarten, we found out he is a little low on iron and our doctor recommended that he start taking a multi-vitamin with iron. This began our quest for a daily supplement that would appeal to a six year old.

We had a less than desirable taste experience with our first choice of vitamin (if you are interested in the full scoop, see my review entitled: There are Better Barnacles Under the Sea than Centrum Kids SpongeBob Squarepants Complete Multivitamins.)

So, I made an effort to choose a little more wisely on our second purchase, after all, the thought of discarding vitamin bottle after vitamin bottle was less than appealing to this frugal mom. I researched a little on-line to see what other consumers were buying or recommending and I stumbled upon Flinstones Complete. Imagine my surprise that nearly the very same vitamin I took in my youth was still available on the shelves today.

I like them back then, so perhaps my son would be okay with them too. Well, Yabba Dabba Do! (You know I had to sneak that phrase in here!) The results were a success.

While my son does not rave about them, he doesn't cringe either and says the orange ones are really, really good. I tried a bite of each color and have to agree, the orange ones are the best and they all are fairly good for a chewable vitamin.

There are a little sour, but flavorful and not at all chalky.

ALLERGY ALERT:

This product contains phenylalanine.

AVERAGE COST:

Available pill form, the cost per bottle ranges from $5 to $8.

SUGGESTED USE:

Children 2 and 3 years of age, chew ½ tablet daily. Adults and children 4 years of age and older, chew 1 tablet daily. Not formulated for use in children less than 2 years of age.

The Flinstones are here to stay I think. I remember taking them as a kid. I liked your review.

We had that problem with character attractiveness when the kids were younger but we've grown past that and now we only have to worry about taste.
