Service at New China is simple: they take your order at the counter and bring you your food about ten minutes later. Sometimes it can take longer to get your food; this widely depends on how busy the restaurant is. After they bring you your food you are responsible for things like drink refills and getting more napkins or soy sauce, so it's not exactly a full service restaurant.
Although the décor and service is simple, the real stand out at New China is the Chinese food. They have all the Chinese favorites like Egg Drop Soup, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Seafood Delight. You can order dishes "family style" like you usually do at a Chinese restaurant, or you can order dinner plates. The dinner plates are my favorite way to order food at New China. In the dinner plate you get an entrée item of your choice, pork fried rice or steamed rice, and either an Egg Roll or a Crab Rangoon. The dinner plates are only about $6.95- so it's a very good deal! At lunch they offer a slightly smaller portion of the dinner plate for $4.95. Both the lunch and dinner plates will probably leave you enough food for leftovers.
