A Crazed Fan Attacks Husband of Actress Sandra Bullock

Jesse James, a TV show host was attacked last Sunday. He is the husband of Hollywood actress, Sandra Bullock. A 45 year-old woman by the name of Marcia Diana Valentine tried to run him over. The crazed fan almost killed Bullock's husband. She tried to hit James after Sandra Bullock asked her to leave their home in Orange County. She has been obsessed with Sandra Bullock for some time.

A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff said that Valentine jumped in the car, put it in reverse and moved in his direction. James had to dodge her Mercedes, but was not hurt. Valentine tried to hit him three or four times during this incident. James's 10 year-old child watched in horror with Bullock as this terrifying incident occurred. Valentine allegedly yelled some obscenities at James before attempting to run him over.

Officials also claimed that Valentine stretched out in Bullock's driveway and would not move. This happened at some time during the attack. However, she drove off and fled the scene before police arrived. James gave police a detailed description of Valentine. She drives a silver Mercedes.

The police then proceeded with an intense manhunt. Valentine was tracked down and taken into custody on Monday for assault with a deadly weapon. Valentine was reportedly placed in a police lineup where she was identified later as the attacker. This is not the first time that Valentine has been on the premises of Bullock's home. She has stalked Bullock in the past.

The Orange County Sheriff spokesman said that Valentine has been found at the Hollywood couple's home in California on several occasions. When located, the crazed fan would be lying in front of the garage. Valentine has a court hearing scheduled or May 22, but has been released on bail. James was not struck by the car during the incident. Both Bullock and James are "fine" now, according to the actress's representative.
