Concerning the rides at Busch Gardens, there are four paramount roller coasters which include Kumba, Montu, Gwai, and SheiKra. They are all considerably exciting which makes it is difficult for me to pick my favorite. Nothing really sets Kumba apart from other ordinary roller coasters. It was named Kumba which translates to "roar" in an African Congo language and its said to have been designed to sound like a roar as it passes over. It's your typical coaster with a four seat width, over the head harnesses and many spirals, twists, and drops which are called inversions. In order to be considered an inversion roller coaster it must contain at least six inversions, Kumba has seven. Kumba stands at 143 feet and reaches a speed of 60 mph. Its duration is 2 minutes and 54 seconds and it is found in the Congo area of the park.
Montu is a little less ordinary. This coaster was named after the Egyptian god of war Menthu. Throughout the ride there is an Egyptian theme, being that this coaster is found in the Egypt area of the park. This coaster also has over the head harnesses and a four seat width but no floor so your feet dangle. This is a favorite of many I think partly because it is exactly three minutes long which makes it one of the longest coaster in the park (SheiKra is the only one that matches Montu's length). Montu has a total of eight inversions, which is a record. It stands 150 feet and reaches a speed of 63 mph.
