El Rodeo; Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Richmond, Indiana

A truly authentic Mexican restaurant, El Rodeo has had to expand and open an additional location within Richmond, Indiana as it's been so popular. Authentic dishes and atmosphere, El Rodeo makes you feel as if you've stepped into a different country.

Originally established on the East Side of town, El Rodeo was an instant hit. During the lunch hours, there is often standing room only and a wait for seating. The small dining room provides a few simple rows of tables and booths.

The West Side location, however, has ample seating to balance the smaller location across town. A bar, smoking section and non-smoking section are all incorporated into the dining area.

You'll find endless combinations on the menu. You can order anything as simple as a taco or take the plunge and order a flaming fajita. Appetizers, main courses, deserts and kids meals are all easily found on the menu.

The recommended plate at El Rodeo is Combo Number 7; a tostada, an enchilada and a taco, all in your choice of chicken or beef; preferably beef. If a combo isn't your style, then the beef nachos are sure to please; a plate lined with crispy tortilla chips covered with ground beef and a delicious melted white cheese.

Most menu items come in your choice of beef or chicken. The beef is a cooked ground beef while the chicken has recently changed from a shredded chicken to a grilled chicken breast cut into pieces fit for taco meat.

The overall opinions of the restaurant are very similar. Without coming across a single person who hasn't enjoyed it, many people express their likes and desires to return shortly.
