The best pizza restaurant in the West end of Hartford, Ct, in my opinion, is undoubtedly,  South Whitney Pizza !

Located across the street from a Methodist church, just yards from the corner of busy Farmington avenue,  South Whitney Pizza has been pleasing hungry diners for many years. A no- frills eatery,  South Whitney Pizza exudes an old- time pizza parlour warmth ( literally and figuratively ) the minute You walk in the door.  Grab a booth by the window, or along the wall and settle in for a delicious, satisfying culinary experience. Even though pizza is King at South Whitney Pizza, many, if not all,  of the other menu offerings are not only good, but exemplary.

SOUTH WHITNEY HAS THE MOST DISGUSTING FOOD ON THE PLANET. I am not very selective when it comes to pizza....however I would not feed a south whitney pizza to my worst enemy. The dough was overcooked and the crust was like a rock. The cheese was bland and gummy....and the sauce tasted like watered down ketchup. I honestly like Elios microwaveable pizza better. The wings are even worse than the pizza. The menu says that they offer different flavor wings....I chose honey bbq....all I got was some extremely greasy wings without any sauce on them......then I saw a thimble full of honey bbq sauce at the bottom of the bag...I guess I was supposed to create my own honey bbq wings. Worst of all is that the employees are total morons. I had to give my address 14 times to the dispatcher. Then the idiot who was delivering the food got lost...called me about 4 times confused as hell. This place is absolutely dreadful..I would rather eat out of a dumpster. If you want good pizza i

They are absolute thieves. We had friends over and ordered two cheese pizzas. They came an hour later with two pizza with meat all over them (even though the guy had repeated our order back to us on speaker phone). We then sent the pizzas back and called to ask them to just credit our credit card. We were all starving and did not want to wait another hour. The guy said, "Yeah, yeah I'll credit your credit card." We checked with our credit card company a few days later, and there had been no credit made. So basically, they charged us for two pizzas that we never even got! And at the time of the incident, they seemed like they couldn't have cared less that eight people (from the area) were witness to this terrible customer service! All in all, a very disappointing hassle with a restaurant that apparently would rather sneakily take money from their customers than do the right thing.

I'm with Erika; although this may be a great restaurant, the repetition alone in the article drove me nuts, not to mention the totally random capitalization of words like "You" in the middle of a sentence and odd spacing after dashes. This may be a great restaurant, but this is a clear lesson in why people need to reread their articles before posting.
