If you want your kid to write a narrative paragraph, choose an interesting topic that will catch their imagination skills. Writing a narrative paragraph that will have animals, birds, flowers, plants and nature kindles the roots of imagination. It will also help them to understand how it is important to live in a world with a safer surrounding. Don't worry if you don't have garden at your back-yard. Take them to a park near your house. Ask them to observe few things that they see there. Ask them to note down the birds, flowers and little animals they see there. Squirrels, flowers, trees and colorful birds that visit the park will be ideal characters to be included in a narrative paragraph. Once they have decided on the type of characters their narrative will have, teach them how to sequence the events one by one. Tell them the importance of chronological order.
