Where the Wild Things Are MySpace Layouts, Backgrounds, Graphics
Where the Wild Things Are started as a children's picture book that was written in 1963 by the American author Maurice Sendak. Where the Wild Things Are was then adapted into an animated short in Prague. It was then updated in 1988 with a new selection of music and it was re narrated as well. Around the same time it was also turn into a children's opera, and it was performed in Brussels, soon following in other parts of Europe such as London for the following few years. Soon it was performed in the United States for a short period of time as well. It was only recently turned into a film by Spike Jonze in October of 2009.
Where the Wild Things are follows the main character Max as he causes trouble around the house in his wolf costume. His mother soon sends him off to his room, where be begins to use his imagination to sail to a new land. The land is known as the Land of the Wild Things, where the Wild Things live. The Wild Things are scary creatures, but Max conquers them and is soon crowned as the King of all Wild Things. Eventually he grows bored and lonely, and decided to return back home.
