Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia is one of my favorite places on the planet. I have been going there for over ten years and plan on continuing to go for the rest of my life. I am a roller coaster enthusiast but they have a lot of other great things to offer. Here is a list of 10 of the best things.

1) They have a brand new roller coaster opening on May 25, 2007. The ride is called Griffon and it is the World's tallest floorless dive coaster. After visiting the website at www.buschgardens.com and taking a look at the videos I cannot wait to get on this thing. It truly is different from any coaster out there.

2) The whole park is decorated better than any other amusement park I have been to. Rather than tearing up the surroundings, the people of Busch Gardens built their park among the trees and countryside. There are huge trees everywhere and tons of beautiful plants and even some local wildlife such as birds, ducks, and fish. They also went out of their way to build European towns right here in Virginia. They take you away to faraway lands and you can't help but be happy here.

3) If you live in Virginia you can purchase the Virginia Resident Fun Card. Basically you pay for a day and you get unlimited admission all spring and summer. This offer expires May 31st so if you plan on purchasing this you will want to act fast. You can purchase this ticket online or at the park. The Fun Card is only $54.95, which is the same price as a regular single-day ticket.

4) Water Country is just a few miles down the road and you can get a multi-park ticket to visit both. This is very convenient and great for a family that wants to spend a few days or a week in Williamsburg. The ticket is called the Busch Gardens & Water Country USA Vacation Pass and is available for $79.95 for ages 3 and above. It has unlimited use for both parks from seven days after the ticket is first used.
