Livermore Falls, Maine Travel Information Guide

Livermore Falls is a medium-size town in northern Androscoggin county, Maine which offers a number of restaurants, stores, a pharmacy, and other businesses. According to the Town Office website, it has approximately 3,500 residents. The Androscoggin River runs between Livermore and Livermore Falls under the bridge just after the railroad tracks. Here are some useful tips for anyone travelling to (or through) the Livermore Falls area:

Rosy's Variety and Ben's Variety both offer take-out food and a selection of convenience items. Ben's Variety also has seating and a bathroom available. The only fast food chain with an outlet in Livermore Falls is D&D Donuts, which also has a location in Livermore. A car wash can be found at the C.N. Brown gas station in the neighboring town of Jay. Jay also has a laundromat, a Valero gas station with diesel fuel, a larger grocery store, and a McDonald's restaurant.

A number of banks are located in the area, including a 24-hour ATM. There is a Food City grocery store across the street from the Family Dollar discount store. Both stores have low-priced outdoor soda vending machines. Next to the 24-hr. Cumberland Farms gas station there is an auto repair business, which also sells electronics such as flashlights and televisions. After passing the Chuck Wagon restaurant and turning left, there is a Chinese restaurant, a pub, and a car dealership.
