The stage revloves around in different sets and scenerey. The actors dress up in elaborate costumes that really resemble the animals they are trying to portray. And they move amazingly similar to that of an animal. The performances are amazing and as an audeince and viewer, you will find yourself glued to your chair. You might be in tears when Simba's father dies or Simba is lost in the jungle. You might be scared by the hyenas and Scareface. Or you might just find yourself wanting to sing along with the characters in their songs that are in the movie like the "Circle of Life."
Not only do the actors use the stage, by the actors come out from all over. You will find yourself searching all over the theater looking as the animals come up the isles and move onto the stage. The orchestra does a marvelous job of playing the songs as the characters sng along. The Lion King is not just a film for young children, it is for the whole family.
When the show is over you will find yourself as well as the rest of the audience standing and applauding. There is nothing like Broadway and nothing can simulate live entertainment quite like Broadway does. People come from all over the country to Broadway to watch their shows and the Lion King is one of the finest productions. The Lion King on Broadway has been out for many many years and will continue to do so as viewers have seen the production several times.
