I for one would like to thank them for making this service available to those of us who can not afford a car. Just having them around to count on, means the world to those of us who rely on them for all our transportation needs.
To get anywhere my feet don't carry me, I call up my friends at the local cab company Valley Taxi. They are on my speed dial, and are one of my frequent calls. Honestly I don't know what I'd do without them these days.
They take me to work to work so I can support my boys and pay the bills; they take me to the grocery store so that I can feed my boys. Rain or shine these guys are here to help me out, and are always ready to come and rescue me day or night.
They can and will do cargo service for local people's convenience. The drivers can pick up your groceries, prescriptions or your food from local businesses ad bring it to your home. You just call the business you wish to purchase from and order it. Then call the cab line and they will pick it up and deliver it to you. There are two things they will never transport in a cargo run and that include alcohol or cigarettes for the public.
They offer rides to the malls and airports in the smaller cities around us for $45.00. I've never taken a cab that far but I know its there if I need or desire it. Their coverage area is quite vast for medical issues, but most of their runs are in town for the locals.
Sure sometimes you have to wait for a cab for a pick up, but it never really is that long, unless on a rare occurrence there is only one driver out. When things get busy out there there's a driver who is on stand by and she comes out. Ethel has been a staple in Valley taxi for as long as I've been riding and it's been about 2001 or there about.
