If so, look no further than the Annual Virginia Gourd Festival, sponsored by the Virginia Lovers' Gourd Society. That's right: gourds and gourds galore, just waiting for your visit this Fall.

This Annual Virginia Gourd Festival showcases the lost art of making art from gourds, and so much more. Special attractions include a chance to meet the artisans and learn how to create gourd art. There's also a Silent Auction of Gourd Art benefiting a Virginia youth agriculture program. The Annual Virginia Gourd Festival also offers gourd crafting classes ($25.00, in advance or at the door), a place to buy craft-ready gourds and already completed original gourd art. The Annual Virginia Gourd Festival is always fun and this year's event features the comedy hillbilly quartet Ricochet (Saturday) and another folk band (Sunday). What else to do? Shop at the farmer's market for some farm fresh fare for everyone in the family.
