Non Alcoholic Wines Offer a Great Alternative

For many different reasons, a growing number of people are turning to  non- alcoholic wines  for use as beverages and  in cooking. A relatively little- known product until recent years, non alcoholic wines are now  available for purchase in many liquor stores and supermarkets. Perhaps because of Societal concerns over intoxicants and drunken driving, sales of non alcoholic wines have increased steadily in recent years, with more and better varieties being produced regularly.

With the wide range of  types and flavors of non alcoholic wines now available, it is very possible for the non drinker to enjoy the sensation of enjoying a glass of 'the grape'. In cooking, the distinct, irreplacable flavor and aroma that only wine can bring, is attainable, without having to ' burn- off' the alcohol. It must be mentioned however, that it is impossible to remove ALL of the alcohol from wine. If your motivation for using non alcoholic wines is because You have a drinking problem, it is not recommended that You do so. If You are required to be alcohol- free, then the trace amount of alcohol in non alcoholic wines, is easily detectable. To be legally defined as  non alcoholic, a product must contain less than 1/2 of  1% of alcohol.
