Beware the Mommy Claws

A Poem for Tickle Monsters and All Those Who Love Them

All snuggled up comfy and cozy in bed
BEWARE THE MOMMY CLAWS
They'll sneak up over the covers
And climb onto your head!
BEWARE THE MOMMY CLAWS

They'll wander through hair then down to your chin
BEWARE THE MOMMY CLAWS
They'll tickle under your arms
Then find another place to begin!

BEWARE THE MOMMY CLAWS

While playing a game or watching TV
BEWARE THE MOMMY CLAWS
They'll find your bare feet
And tickle and tickle and tickle, you see
BEWARE THE MOMMY CLAWS

And when you are sad and tears fall down
HERE COME THE MOMMY CLAWS
To tickle, to hug,
And to get a smile out of a frown
WE LOVE THOSE MOMMY CLAWS
