So You Think You Can Dance Top Twenty: Season Six

Lots of Surprises when Top Twenty Revealed

We knew Mollee would make it. We followed her through the auditions: first her family's journey to California bringing only their clothes, air mattresses, "and food!" Molly adds.

Next came her injury, then finding a best friend, Noelle, all topped off with cute expressions and dramatic displays. "A bed! A real bed!" she declared, flopping adorably on a king-sized hotel bed.

Yep, we knew Mollee would be in the Top Twenty.

But how about married couple Ashleigh and Ryan? Ryan got continuous praise on stage but Ashleigh didn't shine until her last audition in a group of five. She was last to come through the curtain and Karen had just been named Top Twenty. Didn't seem there was room for Ashleigh as ten girls were in. Would Ryan move on without her? Nope. They would be Top Twenty together because Paula, named Top Twenty earlier, dropped out having received and accepted a movie contract.

But wait. There was another married couple auditioning. Karen's husband was cut during the last auditions but encouraged Karen to keep the faith. She made it!

Then there's Kathryn, the crier. When she cries and talks, her voice gets higher and higher, almost squeaking. They gave her so much time to be emotional that everyone knew she would make it.

Channing was given a lot of camera time during the Boston auditions, with camera crews watching her dance, serve ice cream and do flips and soccer moves on the beach. She had to wait until age 18 to audition and first time round she's in.

How about Russell? No training, the first Krumper (is that Hip Hop fancied up?) and a natural at learning choreography. Is he the Joshua Allen of Season Six?

Amazingly there are three Tappers. Yes, three. Once two were named to the Top Twenty you had to wonder if the third would get dumped. Nope, we can look for Bianca, Phillip and Peter.

Billy Bell caused Judge Adam to totally lose it, crying so much he could hardly talk. Surely Billy would make it. He did!

Kevin brings Hip Hop to the group, much needed after so many Contemporary Dancers, Tappers and Ballroom contenders.
