- No teen wants to be one of five young ladies wearing the same style prom gown. Thus, teens are now making fashion statements by opting for more distinctive styles. Instead of shopping online, or in the malls where droves of their classmates may be, they are hitting up local vintage and thrift stores. Here, prom shoppers will find an assortment of vintage clothing (including gowns!), accessories, costumes, and on occasion, rare designer labels.
