Almost seven years ago, and we are still there. Should we be there? Should we stay there? What are we doing there? Should we pull our troops out? Should we send more troops?

These are the questions that I think every American has been asking for quite a while now. So what is your opinion on it? I thought that, and I think most Americans thought, after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center that we should be at war; we should be fighting; we should send out troops there and bring this terror to an end. It seems though that after almost seven years, we would be done. I do applaud the military on the finding, capturing, and execution of Saddam. One obstacle accomplished, but I am not too sure what Iraq had to do with the terrorist attacks. It seems like we should have been finding, capturing, and executing Bin Laden, but for some reason we were not. I do believe now that President George W. Bush is on this mission now. So, should we be there? When I went to vote in 2004, the reasoning that I had for my vote was, "He got us into this mess; he needs to get us out. He needs to finish the job he started". It sure is taking a long time though.

Should we be there? My answer: Yes. Should we have been out by now though? My answer: Yes. I do believe that President Bush does have some alternative motives for being in Iraq instead of putting forth all of this power to finding Bin Laden. I also believe that his motives are for good. If he would not have taken down Saddam, I think that he could have become similar to the next Hitler, or he would have funded the next Hitler, possibly Iran's Nuclear Weapons. I also find it interesting though that hardly any other country has joined in the fight. Why is this? I have no clue! That, I guess, is something that we will find out once Bush is no longer in office. I think that the public will find out a lot once Bush is out of the office, and it may not actually be all negative.
