Many new visitors to Las Vegas are surprised when they realize that there are fast food joints in every single major casino. I will never understand why people pass these up. It is much less expensive to eat at Burger King then it is at one of the major restaurants in the casino.
When you check in at your casino resort, you will usually see a book that will publicize what is going on around the casino. Many of these books have coupons or gift certificates for some or all of the restaurants in the casino. Use them, and eat cheaper.
If you make a trip to the gift shop at the casino, you will see many local magazines for sale. All of these will have coupons for up to half off of your meal at some of the local diners and restaurants.
Downtown Las Vegas is the home of many of the smaller casinos that the city has to offer. All of these casinos have restaurants that compare in quality to those at the larger establishments on the Las Vegas Strip. They will also be a lot cheaper.
One of the best eating deals in the entire city is at Ellis Island. Ellis island is a small casino that is located about a block over from the Strip. There is an off-the-menu special that you should ask for when you arrive. They offer a large steak, baked potato, salad, and vegetable meal for $5.99. It will surprise you how good this steak is.
Many of the Downtown Las Vegas casinos also have all you can eat specials that are not listed on the menu. Make sure that you ask the waiter, or someone at the front desk if there is such a special, and what it is.
Many websites such as www.cheapovegas.com will offer links to sites that will give coupons for meals, or tell you what the off-the-menu special is at any hotel or casino resort in Las Vegas.
If you use these tips, you will save money on your next trip to Las Vegas. This money can be brought back home with you, or put in a slot machine for a few more spins.
