Silly Sunday

It's Sunday and that means it's time for Silly Sunday! Silly Sunday is simply a collection of anything I find silly and hope that they make you laugh as well! This Sunday, I think it is time for a joke!

My mom and I went to Seguin, TX to visit my sister and so I could see a concert that was on the Texas Lutheran University campus. This concert was considered an extension of the ELCA Youth Gathering that happened this past summer in New Orleans and it was free. They had an offering and all the money went to help fight world hunger.

Anyway, the three artist were Agape (Dave Scherer), Rachel Kurtz, and Lost And Found (George Baum and Michael Bridges). I love all these artists and Lost And Found is my favorite band. They have a very quirky sense of humor.

Being that people certainly seemed to enjoy the last times I shared puns, I'm going to share some stuff from Lost And Found being that they tend to love puns!

Lost And Found have many CD's. However, the first pun title is probably the CD they call "This." They like this as they can say things such as "This is our CD."

From there, it goes on, and I am going to share their stories. When they made a next CD, people would tell them the obvious, that they should call the CD "That." However, their answer would be, "We have no time for That." Then they say the considered not giving it a title. However, everybody would tell them that they needed to call their CD something. Of course, this led to a CD that is titled "Something."

Once they made a new CD, they recorded songs in their traditional manner and had somebody do some mixing and make them more stylish than just guitar and piano. Because people would say that they have or at least have heard "This" and "Something," they wanted something different. Of course, the CD is titled "Something Different."

They do have a hymn CD and a Christmas CD, but there aren't any funny stories to go with them.

Then, they say, for their next CD, they wanted to name it something musical, but they also wanted people to buy it, so they called it "Pronto," a term after a fast tempo in music. However, they could say "Get our new CD pronto!"
