Father's Day Craft Ideas: Arm Chair Caddy
Kids can customize their arm chair caddy to easily fit almost any type of chair that Dad likes to sit on. Specifically this arm chair caddy would work well on a Lazy Boy arm, recliner, chair arm, or a couch arm.
The skill level in this Father's Day Craft is easy, if you let the home improvement store make your wood cuts for you!
To Make This Arm Chair Caddy Craft For Father's Day You Will Need:
1 8 X 10 picture frame
3 8 X10 pieces of plywood
An assortment of wood office supply organizers or metal
Screws
Wood Glue
Paint
Paint brushes
8X10 photo or artwork

So, the first step is to insert your photo or artwork into the 8X10 frame.
Now, take one 8X10 piece of plywood and wood glue the other two 8X10 piece of plywood to it. You want to do this on the long side, the 10 inch side. The two new pieces of plywood should stand down on it to make it look like a table.
The two 8 inch sides should remain open.
Now, if you have access to a drill then pre drill the hole sand screws this together. If not, use one of those glues that hold like nails.
Now, once this bade is dry go ahead an paint it out in any color you want.
Let the arm chair caddy dry.
Now, use that same wood glue or tough as nails glue to attach the office supply organizers to one side of the arm chair caddy. Try to choose office supply organizers that are the right size to hold dad's cell phone, the remote, or even pens! Glue them in a row on the one side of the arm chair caddy.
If you use metal office supply organizers, then you can screw them into place. Be sure to pre drill the holes first though!
Now, to attach the artwork on time and create a finished tray on top of the arm chair caddy all you need to do is run a thick bead of your glue around the back of the wood frame. Press it into place on top of the Father's Day arm chair caddy.
