The Ins and Outs of Being an Army Spouse
First off:
Hope you like to travel! One of the best parts, in my opinion anyway, is you get to see the world! Or at least lots of the United States. Very rarely is the army going to move you close to where your present home is, more than likely you'll end up thousands of miles away. And since most of us have vehicles that we need to get there, it means you'll be going on a lot of cross-country road trips. You can either dread it, or make it fun and exciting. I prefer the latter. We have made trips out of each of our moves, usually we have enough time to stop and explore some major landmarks along the way. Plus, I guarantee as you drive you'll come across some remote place or attraction that you've never heard of. stop and check it out. You'll have interesting stories to tell of some off-the-wall place nobody has heard of. They usually prove to be interesting anyway. Don't dread the long trips...look forward to them instead. It will make the time go a lot faster.
