Nine couples did their utmost to show their best moves though some fell far short of the mark. With the threat of Tuesday's double elimination looming on the horizon, they stars attempted to dazzle.Couples Dancing the Jitterbug
Mark DaCascos and Lacey Schwimmer - High energy and lots of tricks had the crowd cheering. Carrie Ann was ecstatic. Len loved it and Bruno called it spectacular. A small stumble at the end was noted by all the judges. Score 26
Mya and Dmitry Chaplin - A cute number with lots of good footwork but t poor opening that wasted time that could have been spent on the dance floor. Len disliked the desk polishing aspect of the dance but Bruno praised the timing. Carrie Ann found it below the level of Mya's capabilities. Score 24
Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson - A slight stumble didn't take much away from the number. The judges all noticed the stumble and noted a couple of spots where timing was lost. Their score fell five points from last week. Score 24
Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower- Parts of it were fantastic but the timing was off. In spite of loads of tricks that worked beautifully, Louie dropped his partner twice. The judges were not overly pleased. Score 21
Kelly Osbourne and Louie Van Amstel - Fun, energetic and a decent number, it lacked the wildness and wow fAactor. It was cute but it never ignited. The judges admonished her to stay in her happy place and get into the character. Score 20
Couples Dancing the Waltz
Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas - Melissa's waltz was lacking any finesse and didn't flow. Although Len thought it was elegant, her score didn't reflect his kind words. Score 20
Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff - Another lackluster performance that at least bore some semblence of elegance. The judges felt it was his best performance. Score
