If you have an acne problem, all you need to do is wash your face a couple times a day with a mild soap. After washing the affected area add some mild benzoyl peroxide or a preparation containing sulfur.
If you have a minor dog bite, scrub the bitten area with mild soap and water for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Then rinse the area off with clean water. Add some kind of antiseptic to the minor scar area.
If you believe you have a mild case of appendicitis (inflammation of the appendix) drink plenty of clear liquids. Do not apply anything cold on the abdomen. A heat pad may ease your stomachache. Do not take a laxative or an enema because it may make the appendicitis worse.
If you believe you may have asthma, the ancient Greeks used something called licorice root. Some health food stores may have licorice root tea. Do not drink too much of this tea because it could make the asthma worse. Eating an apple a day may help control your asthma.
For athlete foot which you may have itching and/or rashes. It is a fungus infection. Buy some fungicidal ointment and use once or twice a day. If you have very sensitive skin apply once a day or buy something with lesser strength.
