I have two toddlers one I gave Enfamil exclusively and the other started on Enfamil until I wised up. It was merely by accident that she got the parents choice. I had sent my husband to the store to pick up the Enfamil, but they were out and my husband picked up the closest thing to it. He brought home this parents choice formula. Of course at first I didn't like it. It was clumpier than the Enfamil. It seemed like it had more moisture in it.

After close inspection of the labels I discovered that they were almost exactly the same. The only difference that I saw was that the parents choice had more fat proteins in it. Which in my daughter's case was a good thing. She was in need of the extra lipids. That also explained why the Enfamil seemed to be drier than the Parent's Choice. My daughter took to the Parent's Choice without a problem and I never switched back.

The Parent's Choice has the same ingredients and comes in the same size container but is half the cost as Enfamil. It would be a wise choice for parent to switch to the Parent's Choice if their baby will take it. Parent's Choice Infant formula can be found exclusively at Wal-Mart Stores. The average cost of Enfamil at Wal-Mart is $23.00 for a large can and the average cost of Parent's choice is $11.00. This will make a 50% savings, which comes in handy when considering all the formula you will go through in that first year.

An even better deal is if you shop at Sam's Club, the whole sale store related to Wal-mart. At Sam's Club they carry the same formula but labeled under a different name. At Sam's Club it is called Member's Mark, but trust me it is exactly the same as Parent's choice. There you can get an extra large can for $15.
Their extra large can is like the equivalent of one and a half of the large cans you can get at Wal-Mart.

My son LOVES this formula. After many trials and errors, this is the formula he does best on and it's just a bonus that it's easier on the pocketbook. He loves the taste (he's very picky) and never made a single face when we switched him over to this formula. He is not gassy or constipated anymore either(like on all other formulas he had one or the other). Happy Baby = Happy Mommy

Hi, I just wanted to let parents know that you don't have to just get this formula at Wal-Mart. Although I found that it's the cheapest at Wal-Mart. BJ's Wholesale club sells it under their name, Publix sells it under their name and Kroger sells it under there name. You can bring your Parent's Choice label into any of those stores and compare them. They all say Manufactured by: PBM Nutritionals, LLC. Also, there will be a Martek DHA logo. I hope this helps you save money :)

I'm one of the anti-WalMart types, but I have to admit that I love, love, love this formula. I've fed two babies this, and will happily feed the same to my third. The coupons and such from the brand names can't hold a candle to the regular price of Parents' Choice, and I don't feel quality is being sacrificed at all. We're paycheck-to-paycheck in my house, and using this to supplement nursing is a huge help financially.

I totally agree with all of these comments. My baby didn't make any face when trying this new formula. She has taken 6 bottles now and no weird reaction to it. And she DOES spit up LESS! I think it is because of less foam when you shake the bottle. LOVE IT and LOVE the price!!!!!!!

I am SO thankful my son does well with the Parents Choice. He was in the neonatal unit after birth and they told me this formula was just as good as Enfamil Lipil. It is cheaper and a lot less foam!

Parent's Choice Gentle formula is a very good product. And another "plus" is that when you mix it, it never clumps up like some of the high-end products do.

I recently switched my son to this formula as well and I love it. When I went to wal-mart and saw the price of Enfamil w/ Lipil went up to just over $25 I saw the Parent's Choice brand and stood in the store and saw everything was exactly the same except the price...it's 11.88 I bought it. I love the fact that it doesn't foam like the Enfamil and I think this may be why he doesn't spit up near like the did before. I'm glad I saw you can get coupons, I'm going to call the number on the container monday to see if I can get some sent to me! Thanks!

My son was on Enfamil Lipil until he was 7 months old. He would spit up after every bottle. When I switched him to Parents Choice he stopped spitting up. May have been coincidence but I think it was because of the Enfamil. He is now 10 months old and we have switched him to Parents Choice for older children without incidence and he loves it. CHEAPER too. We love it.

Do you have the phone # to get the coupons? Is there anything specific you need to ask them for or say when you call?

If you call the number on the can (PBM nutritionals) They will send you coupons for the formula- you can call them every thirty days to send you out another set of coupons. It turns out that this is actually a little cheaper with the coupons than Sam's club (19.96 for a can 2x the size) Same stuff...works great...perfect for multiples and any parent looking to cut the formula bill in half. By the way- both WalMart and Sam's give a refund if for some reason your babe doesn't take well to the formula.Go to sam's website to sign up to get a free formula sample!

Thanks for the info. I tried this too, the walmart brand has a slightly more yellow color, and whats great is that it doesnt make as much "foam" when reconstituted as the brand name enfamil.
