A mother and father's 15 year old son had run away. He did not come home from a party, and had been missing for a few days; the mother and father filed a report with the Police. He was entered as a Run Away Juvenile via NCIC. The boy had run away one other time before; and was found in another state with a friend. The friend was arrested for an outstanding federal warrant.
The child was not on medication, not believed to be in danger to others, but may have been a danger to himself.
Once the parents called a licensed private investigator, the investigation began immediately to locate the boy. Multiple attempts were made to acquire information in regards to finding out where the subject was making his cell phone calls from utilizing "triangulation"; Federal Laws prohibit non licensed organizations from obtaining this kind of information. An investigation was initiated in 3 states in attempts to locate the boy. The private investigator conducted interviews, surveillance, worked with local law enforcement, and security personnel.
A reward was covertly asked of one of the boy's friends; who knew exactly where he was. Once he was found, law enforcement detained the boy and surrendered him to his parents. The private investigator maintained surveillance on his activity once he was released to his parents. The boy again attempted to runaway; The P.I. maintained surveillance on him. He was able to know where the boy was and kept the parents notified of his location. After a few hours of surveillance the boy was secured by his parents once again.
The parents decided to contact a rehabilitation center to help their child. With the assistance of the private investigator, the son was found and the boy was given the opportunity to turn his life around. He will get a second chance in life all due to the assistance of the private investigator, the rehabilitation center and the parents love for the child. The parents and the private investigator worked as a team in order to accomplish the goal of finding their missing son.
