The Delphi NAV200 is compact and fairly accurate in providing individuals with driving directions, and also has the capability of playing multimedia files such as music and video, which makes it not only a navigational device, but also a mini portable entertainment center. The Delphi NAV200 is a great value for the money, but does not compare to that of the Tom Tom brand of navigational devices.

One of the major downfalls of the Delphi NAV200 design is that in order to upload music and video to your device, you must have an SD card reader, as it does not have a USB port. It is difficult to understand why Delphi would produce such an innovative device, yet limit an individual's access to it by requiring that you have an SD card reader. At least it gives you a way to store and use your music and video media, because some navigational systems do not.

Delphi NAV200 users main complaint with the product was that of it's sometimes slow performance rate, the lacking of a text to speech function and of course the fact that it does not include a USB port. Other Delphi NAV200 user's complained that there was so much information all jumbled onto the screen that often times they had a hard time deciphering what was what.

The Delphi NAV200 does come with a night time viewing option which makes it easier to read in the dark, and also enables you to view the maps in 2D or 3D. The information that the navigational device displays is more than enough to get you where you need to go, in most cases. Information including estimated arrival time, remaining distance, next road or street name, your current speed, and your current heading direction. The Delphi NAV200 also offers voice guided turn by turn directions to your destination.

Takeaways
  • The Delphi NAV200 is a great value for the money
  • The Delphi NAV200 does not have a USB port
  • Delphi NAV200 users main complaint with the product was that of it's sometimes slow performance rate
Did You Know?
As a whole, the Delphi NAV200 is a good value for your money and is fairly affordable. The portable Delphi NAV200 will run you about $399.99, and allows you to keep your iPod at home, due to it's music and video capabilities.
