The Halloween Parade NYC 2009 is tonight. The Halloween Parade NYC starts at 7 pm in New York City, and the Halloween Parade NYC is set to go down 6th Avenue.

The really cool thing about the Halloween Parade NYC 2009 is that anyone can participate in the parade. All you have to do is put on your best costume and head on out to 6th Avenue. Although the parade starts at 7 pm, sometimes it takes until 9 pm for the parade to fully leave the starting point.

The Halloween Parade NYC is listed on 100 Things to do Before You Die. It is the nation's only Halloween parade that is broadcast on local TV. Those that do not live in the New York area may get lucky and see snippets of the celebration broadcast on national TV.

I would love it if the Halloween Parade NYC 2009 was broadcast on the Internet through live streaming. If you can have live streaming cricket matches, surely a Halloween Parade live streaming would be more entertaining. The Village Halloween Parade society should set up a live stream and charge $5 per person. I bet they would make a lot more money doing this than they would through their $30 tax-deductible membership that comes with a complimentary t-shirt.

Despite the fact that those who live far away from New York City can't see the parade, it's still an amazing production. There are 53 different bands playing all sorts of different music featured in the parade. Those wishing to participate just find a band that they like and head on out with the parade.

According to the New York's Village Halloween Parade Official Web site, the parade's 36th journey is a voyage to "Terra Incognita." According to Wikipedia, "Terra Incognita" means "lands unknown" in Latin. This is a very appropriate theme for the ultra-bizarre New York parade.
