Some point in everyone's life we have unexpected ailments. We try to find solutions around our home for a quick fix. You would be surprise with the simple every day items could work.

Fainting symptoms could include dizziness, vision maybe blurred, cold, moist skin, nausea, glazed look in the eyes and/or loss of consciousness. If you see someone fainting try to catch them, if possible. Lay the patient flat on their back with their feet higher than their head. Getting some cool air can help a patient that fainted. If you think you are going to faint put your head between your legs while sitting in a chair.

Usually young children have flat feet at some degree anyway. A person with flatfoot usually have no arches, walking on the inner edge of their feet, worn inner edges of the heels and/or soles of their shoes, pain in their feet from short walks to brief exercise. If a child is younger than 3 years old, this is normal. If the child is older than 3 years old, have the child tiptoe barefoot for about 5 to 10 minutes a day or walk barefoot on the outer edges of their feet with the toes clenched for about 10 minutes a day. Do not wear orthopedic shoes unless advised by a physician. But remember pain in the feet from excessive use and exercise is very normal.

Fractures are deformity of a bone, swelling, bruising, tenderness and/or an inability to move the bone naturally. You can use a thick newspaper to make a splint so the fracture or fractures do not move. Do not allow the patient to put pressure on the fracture. After the patient fracture is immobilized in a somewhat normal, comfortable position, take the patient to the doctor.
