Strikeforce Fedor Vs. Rogers Prediction: Main Event

The Fedor vs. Rogers main event on CBS this Saturday for the Strikeforce Heavyweight Title might be the biggest free fight in TV history.

And it's going live and should be a big hit with all the advertising CBS is putting behind it during NFL Football broadcasts.

If there is any justice in this world, the Fedor vs. Rogers main card event will outdraw the Kimbo Slice fights that have been shown before and bring some semblance of order to the MMA world.

The main event should be a good one between a legend in Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers, a powerful, huge young guy.

Strikeforce Fedor vs. Rogers Prediction: Main Event

The key to the Fedor vs. Rogers fight will be for Fedor to keep the much bigger Rogers under control so he can't get untracked and unleash one of his huge knockout blows.

That means Fedor might have to get to Rogers early and go in for the clinch or big takedown.

Fedor is a grappling expert and arguably the best sambo fighter in the world while the ground game is Rogers' weakness. He has some clinch skills but should have a hard time avoiding the Fedor takedown in this Strikeforce fight.

While Rogers is a good bet for a few bucks in the betting circles due to his status as a huge underdog, Fedor is still the likely winner of this fight because he can win it in so many ways despite the size disadvantage. His chin and defense are both out of this world as even a huge slam by another massive guy in Kevin Randleman couldn't knock him out.

Strikeforce Fedor vs. Rogers main event prediction: Fedor wins by armbar in the first round.
