Introduction of the Nikon D50 Digital Reflex Camera
The Nikon Company is absolutely marked high with the introduction of the Nikon D70 digital SLR camera. The so-called biggest rival of the Nikon D70 was the Canon EOS 300D, which was thrown or set aside by the camera. The Nikon Company came back with the lunching of the Nikon D50 digital reflex camera. I would say that the introduction of the Nikon D50 reflex camera is a successor to the Nikon D70 reflex, although they both have some similarities, but the former is a little advanced in features compare to the latter.

Differences between D50 and D70s Digital Reflex Camera
At first fleeting appearance the dissimilarities involving the Nikon D70s and the D50 are diminutive. The Nikon D70 reflex camera has a rather faster image speed which is three frames per second compared with 2.5 images at the Nikon D50, a faster maximum shutter speed (1/8000s in stead of 1/4000s) and high settings for ISO values. The Nikon D50 permits a user to regulate the ISO in one whole step, while the Nikon D70 allows a procurer to do so in 1/3.

Similar to the Nikon D70s, the Nikon D50 is also operational with a striking big screen of 2 inches. And both cameras contain similar portrait feeler; the renowned Sony CCD which is also used in the Nikon D100. The Nikon D50 is therefore a 6 Mega-pixel camera with a for Nikon standard focal range of 1.5. The D50 is the first Nikon reflex camera to use a Secure Digital memory card for storing the captured portraits.
