Perez Hilton Strikes Back at Alexa Ray Joel

The war between Perez Hilton and Alexa Ray Joel is on. Perez Hilton struck back at Alexa Ray Joel Friday in a nasty new blog entry. This comes a few days after Perez Hilton posted Alexa Ray Joel's scathing myspace blog entry on his site in what at the time seemed to be a concession. Perez Hilton now seems to have had a change of heart, however, and is throwing another punch. The new Alexa Ray Joel blog entry is filed under Perez Hilton's notorious "If You Are Easily Offended, Do Not Click Here" category, and features a harsh caricature of Alexa Ray.

Photoshopped Picture
The blog entry, after being clicked, reveals a photoshopped picture of Alexa Ray Joel with gigantic bug eyes and huge buck teeth. The caption reads "Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's daughter Alexa Ray is just precious!"

Struck a Nerve
Despite the warning, thousands of Perez Hilton' readers have apparently "clicked there" anyway. The new blog posting had a whopping 1674 comments by Saturday afternoon. Most of Perez Hilton's posts garner a few hundred comments, but his postings on Alexa Ray Joel seem to have struck a nerve.

Perez Supporters Speak Out
Perez Hilton's last posting on Alexa Ray Joel, in which he reprinted her anti-Perez blog entry, was followed by hundreds of responses in support of Alexa Ray. This time around, several of the comments came from Perez supporters. One Perez Hilton reader commented, "with a post like this one about Alexa , it is like you are resurrecting from your tomb baby!" Another reader posted, "that is too funny!!!! I love the fact you two are at war. Keep the laughs coming."
