Christopher Walken Prank on YouTube

I must say I don't like pranks. Yes, they are funny to watch - provided that you are not the target, and that's exactly the problem: if you would not want this to happen to you, why would you do this to others?

Of course, some pranks are harmless, more like a friendly joke; in such cases the victim laughs together with those who have set them up and everyone is happy. But other pranks can be rather mean, or downright cruel.

The one I am going to talk about probably would be considered as nothing by most people, especially seasoned pranksters. I found it on YouTube; it is called Christopher Walken prank. First of all, Christopher Walken has nothing to do with it. In a way, he is actually another victim of the prank, because his name is used - and not in a flattering manner.

The prankster makes a phone call to a restaurant, first introducing himself as Christopher Walken's personal assistant. He informs the manager that Christopher Walken is in town and would like to come to the restaurant. Then he asks the manager to talk to Walken and to be "as accommodating as possible."

He then proceeds to impersonate Walken, doing a fairly good voice imitation, and his "Walken" is not nice at all. The manager starts the conversation saying, "Hello Christopher," and he cuts her off with, "That's Mr.Walken." It gets worse after that, "Walken" becomes increasingly rude, pushing the poor lady around and intimidating her. After just a few phrases she asks whether she can put him on hold for a little bit, obviously to compose herself. "Walken" is insulted, and pays back with more rudeness when the manager is back on the phone. As she tries to go through the menu for him, he rejects one dish after another ("Would you enjoy a salad?" - "Do I look like a cow?! No, I don't want a salad!") and threatens to bring McDonald's food with him and eat it in front of the restaurant's customers. At last he ends the phone call, never revealing that it was a prank.
