To get an appointment first you can either make an appointment by calling ahead or go inside and wait for your turn. Tell them its your first time and like any other medical building you will have to fill out paper work. This is all private stuff so do not be embarrassed and please do tell the complete truth. The truth is the most important thing to tell while in this place. No one is here to judge you and they probably have heard the same questions or things from many other people. After a little wait you will go into a room based on what you need. If you need an exam you will go into a room with a table. You will be asked to undressed, if your uncomfortable with this leave you socks on. Its a way of feeling not so naked and trust me it helps. There soon will be someone to come in and do an examination. Everything will be fully explained to you and do not be afraid to ask any questions if you do not fully understand. If you are not there to get an exam then you will just be put in a office where you will have a one on one with someone. Again all questions will be answered and do not be afraid to open up and tell the truth. Trust me it is better to go to plan parenthood and face your fears which will soon be relieved by the friendly environment, then have to deal with the fears inside.
