Dream Fights in Boxing for Next Year

With this year coming to a close, fight fans are looking towards next year for the big fights (despite there still being a few left this year) but what would be the biggest fights we might get? We've had a few that we would have asked for this year, Ricky Hatton v Manny Pacquiao would have been on most peoples lists as would Shane Mosley v Antonio Margarito and Juan Diaz v Juan Manuel Marquez. So what could we be asking Santa to bring us next year?

At heavyweight it's unlikely we'll ever see Klitschko v Klitschko but we may (if we all cross our fingers and pray) see David Haye in with one of them. Out of the two it would have to be preferable for it to be Vitali Klitschko in what (if Haye dethrones Valuev this coming weekend) would be a fight to unify the WBA and WBC titles. The idea of it being Vitali and not Wladimir is based around the idea that Vitali is a bit happier to come forward and is able to take more shots than his brother and Haye sure likes to throw with bad intent. After beating (remember this would take place ONLY IF Haye beats Valuev) one giant and following it up with another the fight would be massive and the American public would buy it a lot more than they are willing to buy the fight with Valuev. The fight has been on the verges of being done a few times in 2009 until something got in the way, though 2010 will hopefully bring it all and give us this one sometime.
