The Nintendo Wii is one of the new next generation consoles out there. Today's cutting edge technology allows the Nintendo Wii to use a wireless controller that uses a sensor to tell what buttons you're pressing and so on. But the Nintendo Wii also goes further, as you use the Nintendo Wii remote to control characters even in ways we thought were unimaginable. When using the Nintendo Wii, you sometimes point the remote directly at the television you're using to control such actions such as throwing a bowling ball, swinging a tennis racket, or hacking up an enemy with your sword. For some other games you use the Wii remote in other forms such as turning it sideways (horizontal), holding it vertical, and so on.However, for other games, mostly classic games that are downloadable from the Wii Store, you may use a Nintendo Wii "Classic" controller. When playing some of these games, which include the original Super Mario, Bomberman, and others, you have to hold the Wii remote sideways, as if it were an actual controller from regular Nintendo (also known as NES). This is where the conflict comes into play.
Nintendo has created a Wii "Classic" controller, a rounded replica of a regular Nintendo controller that also contains more buttons, and a couple of analog sticks. So, instead of using your regular Nintendo Wii remote and turning it sideways to play these cult classics, you can buy a Nintendo Wii Classic controller and play it without having to turn a controller horizontally.
But which controller is better to use? There are pros and cons to both controller options, so it is merely preference. However, I am here to enlighten you about why I believe that using the default Nintendo Wii controller is better to use.
