No Bake GF/CF Crunch Cookies
Fun for the Whole Family
Sometimes it can be hard to find a good cookie that is GF/CF. A lot of the cookies that have gotten for my son have tasted stale or they had no flavor at all and so I decided to make my own cookies for him that I am sure that others will like as well and the best part is they are no bake and so that leaves a lot more time to do other things. This gives you a chance to have a delicious snack with all the others and not have to feel left out.You can make these with either regular peanut butter or you can make them with soy peanut butter that have no nuts in them. I was able to find the soy kind at Wal-Mart.Ingredients that you will need are:
peanut butter
GF marshmallows
butter substitute
GF corn flakes(you can find these at Hy Vee DO not get Kellogg's as all their products contain barely)
Step one:
You will want to put the butter and peanut butter in a sauce pan over medium heat and let them melt till all is a liquid.
Step two:
Add your marshmallows. You might want to turn down the heat just a little more as you do not want the marshmallows to burn.
Step three:
Take you mixture off the heat and add your corn flakes. You will stir this all together until all the corn flakes are covered. You will need to let this stand for about five minutes to let it cool down.
Step Four:
While you are waiting for this to cool you can be spraying some PAM onto a baking sheet. Once they are cool put a little PAM on your hands so that the mixture dose not stick. You will take a little bit at a time and make them into balls and then put them on the baking sheet and flatten them out.
Step Five:
This is the last thing that you will have to do put them in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes and there you have it a delicious cooking.
These are easy to do and fun for the whole family to make. When you are on the GF or GF/CF diet try to make it as fun as possible and also as simple.
That you can make yourself a fun little treat even if you are one the GF/CF diet.
