Rudolph Giuliani one could say has had a successful career both as an attorney and as former Mayor of the biggest city in the United States of America. A relative unknown nationally, he rose into the National spotlight with the terrorists tragedies that struck New York and the nation on September 11, 2001. In this grave time it appeared that he offered great leadership and direction during that tragic time. He was quick to develop a recovery plan along with the goverment which was impressive and showed his ability to step forward and take a leadership role. Now having successfully proven his ability to lead New York as a successful Mayor, he now seeks the most important leadership role in the country the President of the United States. He along with ten other Republican candidates has tossed his hat into the ring. The question is which one of these men has the ability to be a successful President? The answer is the one who's policies most closely relate to the general consensus of the majority of the American Public. That person that can successfully implement a plan that will satisfy the majority on the major issues will be the man who will be considered successful. Having a plan is one thing implementing that plan and carrying through with it is something that comes down to leadership ability. Giuliani seems to be a man who can lead, has been successful before, so where does he stand on the major issues and how does his stance relate to the Amercian public in general? Here are the answers I came up with:

1-The Economy- Giuliani says the economy should be run like a business. This would mean that every area of the Government would be held responsible for spending and would have to be accountable for any over the budget spending. He also intends to make huge cuts in a lot of programs and is not specific as to which ones. Seems he would have a very conservative approach and it seems to be quite in line with the majority of the American public who would like to see their tax dollars spent more conservatively and with more accountability.

Takeaways
  • Rudolph Giuliani moderate Republican.
  • Stance on many important issues of all American citizens.
Did You Know?
