The General Motors' Saturn team is in its new venture to remodel the small SUV, which is the Saturn SUV. The 2008 VUE is based on the Opel technology rather than the US technology. Opel is the principal European brand of the General Motors. This would be definitely exciting news for those who thought that the GM would take over the Saturn VUE. Therefore the Saturn will gain a new life through the support from Opel. Even though all the features of the Saturn VUE can't be revealed, some features can be noticed.

The company has strived hard to maintain the identity of the model since then the S- Series was released back in 1990. Neglected by the General Motors, it gained recognition only after a decade and then the additional vehicles were looked upon later, including the Saturn VUE. In addition to the L Series midsize cars, the vehicles line comprised the Saturn model lines for many years. Unexpectedly, the brand did not perform well and suffered a lot.

With the termination of the Oldsmobile, Saturn has gained a new form getting new vehicles in the line. Due to its Customer satisfaction and good dealer network, Saturn is remade in to the European Style. Saturn has to thank Opel for all this. In addition to the Aura Sedan which is based upon Opel design, Saturn VUE depends upon Opel Antera GTC. The Antera has gained recognition and revising its facts will showcase the factors about the VUE.

The Antera which is smaller than the Saturn will have two doors, wherein the Saturn has four doors. Both of them are closer in size in comparison to their competitors Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. This size factor has aided the Saturn to introduce 7 passengers SUV by next year which is the Outlook.

The next model, the 2008 Saturn VUE will have both four and also six cylinders gas enabled engines. The current Saturn's look is from the remodeling of the Antera's front look. Apart from these, it will implement the GM technology with latest safety features. It is said that the FWD model is base priced for about $20,000 and may go up to $30,000.
