2009 SEC Championship Game: Florida Vs. Alabama for 2009 SEC Championship
It Will Be Florida Vs. Alabama in the 2009 SEC Championship Game on December 5th
The 2009 SEC Championship Game will be Florida vs. Alabama. The Florida vs. Alabama 2009 SEC Championship Game will potentially pit two undefeated teams against each other in order to decide who wins the SEC this season. The 2009 SEC Championship Game will also most likely decide who the #1 team in the country will be, and who will play in the 2009 BCS Championship of college football. It's possible that both Florida and Alabama will both be 12-0 by the time the 2009 SEC Championship rolls around, and that will make it the game of the year for many college football fans. Game time for the 2009 SEC Championship will be 1:00 P.M. PST on CBS.Alabama was able to hold off LSU on Saturday in order to clinch the SEC West, and Florida is already three games ahead in the SEC East to all but sew up the regular season division champions within the conference. Both teams still have three games to play, and it will definitely be a task to focus on each game as they both now know who they will face in the 2009 SEC Championship Game. It's almost unfair that a conference could have two undefeated teams that are forced to play against each other to decide the participant in the national title game, but some conferences might also find it odd that Florida and Alabama didn't have to play each other in the regular season. Conferences like the Pac-10 play every other team in the conference during the season.
The Florida vs. Alabama SEC Championship Game is going to be one for the books if both teams are able to show up in Atlanta with a 12-0 record. Many people would argue that Florida had a very easy schedule so far this season, and if things stay the way that they are, the only team that Florida played during the regular season that will even be ranked at the end of the year is LSU. That's not exactly a hard-core schedule, and it may hurt them in the computers if they were to falter against someone weaker heading towards the Alabama game. The Florida vs. Alabama game will most likely dash the dreams of one of the teams, especially if Texas can stay undefeated through the Big-12 Championship Game.
The 2009 SEC Championship Game will be played on December 5th, 2009 between the Florida Gators and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
